ZMP (Zeoform Micro Pulp)
Zeoform Micro Pulp for testing & experimenting.
Information:
ZMP is made entirely from cellulose — waste paper and bamboo — with no glues, resins or petrochemicals. It is self-binding and mouldable, shrinking by a factor of around 5 during drying. This shrinkage can create unique material expressions, or when moulded over an object, will maintain the internal dimension while only the wall thickness reduces.
When wet, ZMP is workable like clay. Once dry, it becomes as strong as hardwood. It can be air-dried, or accelerated in an oven, kiln or dehydrator at 50–70 °C for 2–3 days.
ZMP can also be blended with clay or other substrates to increase strength.
All products made out of ZMP are 100% biodegradable.
